    Why

If you take a look at some of the most successful people in this world and study them you will see that they have a couple of things in common.  They all have a vision and have the ability to get others to see a vision of what can be.

Some people call this vision a WHY.

Do you have a why or are you just going about life endlessly wondering. When I say wondering, I don’t mean that you wonder from here to there and back again but do you have a reason to get up in the morning, do you have a reason to better your life and those you care for.

A person’s WHY could be considered his or her goals, what do you want to achieve in life, where do you want to be tomorrow. What do you want for your family.

Your WHY will give you a reason to work hard, fail and try again and then fail and try again until you get it right.

Your WHY will change over time and that is OK.

So If you don’t have a WHY now that is OK, its not to late, it is never to late to find your WHY.  You just have to dare to dream, and dream big, until you can see it, taste it and smell it.

    So go find you WHY.

Many people hear the word network marketing and the first thing they think of is having to sell their friend something they don’t really want.

If that is your concept of network marketing then you have been taught wrong or not at all.

Network Marketing is about building relationships of trust with people it is NOT about selling a product or business opportunity.

Once you have a relationship of trust built, then and only then can you introduce them to a product, business opportunity or whatever else it may be for that matter.

Because you have taken the time to build a relationship of trust, they will be more inclined to listen to what you have a say.

So go out and build relationships and watch your business grow.

    To Little Time

Filed under: Personal Development; Tagged as:

To be honest, I started this blog with intent of posting my ideas and thoughts as an Owner of several businesses and figure I could do it here and there. Things haven’t worked as planned.

Right after the first of the year I opened my third laundry and that has taken most of my time. I also operate a real estate / property management company and have several other irons in the fire.

So I apologize for not post more often and want make it up to you. The next several post will be over social media and what I have learned. One of the businesses I have all of our revenue has come from the internet and nothing else and I want to explain how I’ve done it. So look for that tomorrow.

No more than 30 minutes ago I finished a book titled “Six Pixels of Separation”, it is written by Mitch Joel

    This is an excellent book!

In today’s connected society, everyone is connected and if a business isn’t connected it is losing out.  If it is not connected in the right way it will never create a following and it will do just the opposite, drive people away.

The book talks about the proper way to get connected as a business and provides examples of business that have done it right and business who have done it wrong.

After reading, I walked away thinking to myself there are somethings I need to do for the businesses I own because I been approaching somethings from the wrong direction.

Image of Crush It!: Why NOW Is the Time to Cash In on Your Passion

Recently, Saturday that was, I picked up a book called titled “Crush It”.  It is a book that I’ve been wanting to to take a look at for sometime.  I first came to my attention when it was mentioned by Real Estate speaker and motivator Tom Ferry.

Just a side note, Tom Ferry has some really good content, for everybody. You can Check him out here.

The book is written by Gary Vaynerchuck, don’t ask me how to pronounce it. Even though I’m speak multiple languages, I’m not fluent in Russian. The fact that I speak multiple languages is probably apparent it in my spelling and grammar, never been one of my strong points.

In the book he makes some very good points about being passionate at what you are doing and if you don’t have passion don’t do it. Read the rest of this entry »

    Steps

I just finished a great little book, about a 45 minute read, about selling and life challenges. There are basically 4 steps, they are:

    1. A Purpose – you must have a PURPOSE for what you are selling and that purpose must be spelled out in your head or written down.
    2. A Desire – you have to have an overwhelming DESIRE.  a desire that is express in what you do, so much so others and see it and feel it.
    3. A Plan – You must sit down and put a PLAN together, I needs to be written, and include all of the what ifs.  The plan you will use to keep you on track. As so many business owners know it is to ease to get side tracked.
    4. Hard Work – Everything in life that is worth accomplishing takes HARD WORK and dedication. Success doesn’t come over night.
    5. I know, I said there was only 4 steps but there is a 5 step and that is to SHARE THE ABUNDANCE some people call is Paying It Forward.  This is often time one of hardest parts of being successful and that is sharing what you have gained to make the life of someone else better.  I don’t meaning sharing your wealth but sharing your knowledge and the lessons you have learned.

The book was written by Kevin Allen, who has been in the direct sells business for over 20 years.  He has been a trouble shooter for direct sales companies, he has built direct sales companies, and with every company he has been involved with he has won top honors for his efforts.

Kevin doesn’t just write about these principals, but he lives by these principals.  Kevin has joined up one last time with a company to build it and make others successful along the way, check out the company here.

Seth Godin has an excellent blog post on just this.  Check it out here.

Finding funds to start a new business is one of the hardes things to do: 1) either have the money to invest or 2) you borrow the money to get started or 3) you bring in partners.

Each one has it’s advantages and disadvantage. What ever you decided on make sure everybody is in agreement.
